Church of San Andres
The Church of San Andres is located in the Plaza of the Constitution of Almoradi. Construction began in late 1829 since the previous temple, as the whole city had been devastated by the earthquake of March of that year. The largest and main church of Almoradi, and undergone several renovations over the years to its present form. The facade, flanked by two towers, reminiscent of colonial style. The former church of San Andres, located somewhat southwest of the current had opened in 1732. On March 21, 1829, the great earthquake that devastated much of the Vega Baja destroyed the entire population, including the church, which could only save the organ and bells.
Old hospital in Almoradi
The old hospital is one of the oldest buildings in Almoradi. It was opened in 1930. Part of it is occupied since 1968 by the Central Regional Automated Phone. Also partly rehabilitated to house the Public Library, the Hall of Culture and the Magistrates Court.Today it houses the Magistrates Court, a multipurpose classroom, and chapel (called Chapel Girona) is used for various institutional events as well as for chamber music concerts
Casino
Casino is Located in one of the oldest buildings in the city. Opened in the nineteenth century, continues to organize debates, lectures, conferences and exhibitions of various kinds.
Cort Theatre
Data, estimated 1909, but no record of the author or the plane. It is known, however, was the successor of another theater that existed at least 1889, according to the Municipal of that year. The building was built under funding Praxedes Mariano Cortes, who sought thus increase cultural and social provisions of the city. Closed its doors in 1971, but was remodeled in 1988 and reabrierto and has since continued in active service.
Plaza of the Constitution
Plaza of the Constitution (also known as El Paseo), bringing together the council, the Church, and its characteristic ficus trees. Around this square run pedestrian streets of major commercial importance. All over town there almost thirty squares and parks, but undoubtedly the real green lung of the city is the vast expanse of garden that surrounds the town.
