Since 1857 the city is connected by rail to Madrid,from 1858 to Alicante,through the Madrid-Alicante, which was the first long-distance line to be built in Spain.In 1859,the section was completed Almansa- Xativa,allowing travel to Valencia.Years later Almansa station was one of the largest in the southeastern Spanish.
By road
